In Purchasing, we pride ourselves on our pivotal<br />role between all divisions of the company. Our cross-departmental and<br />cross-functional cooperation extends to all Fendt plants and includes the<br />globally-operating AGCO Corporation. We coordinate future technologies with<br />international suppliers in line with our Forward Sourcing Strategy and<br />shape sustainable relationships along the supply chains. Look<br />forward to exciting work, a high level of personal responsibility and<br />genuine team spirit.<br /><br />The position provides cross-functional support to internal stakeholders<br />during the sourcing and product development process, helping to drive the<br />global purchasing strategy and creating value for internal and external<br />customers through detailed tooling manufacturing process cost knowledge.<br />The incumbent reports to Director Supplier Cost and Tooling Engineering and<br />delivers strategic, tactical and operational support for the Purchasing,<br />Engineering, Finance and Manufacturing organization. The incumbent manages<br />tooling projects, prioritizes strategic and tactical initiatives to embed<br />robust procurement processes, driving cost savings and delivering sound<br />metrics. The position requires advanced understanding of the manufacturing<br />industry to be able to operate effectively on a global level across<br />functions, regions and brands. The Global Tooling Manager has a direct<br />impact to the business in capital expenses cost reduction, purchasing<br />negotiations and product development.<br />What You Will Do<br />* Create detailed analysis of tools, evaluate cost breakdowns and<br />provide value-engineering support to product development and sourcing<br />process<br />* Realize cost avoidance and savings for vendor and in-house tools<br />within new development, resourcing projects and tool renewals by<br />providing negotiation support to global purchasing commodity teams<br />* Act as a subject matter expert in regards of global tooling risk<br />management and help to develop tooling sourcing strategies for AGCO<br />and its suppliers<br />* Define, implement, and maintain standardized cost calculation<br />systems, tools and instruments for tool costing engineering on a<br />global perspective<br />* Verify vendor tooling/capital equipment to ensure it is suitable for<br />AGCOâs needs and requirements<br />What You Will Bring<br />* University degree in Engineering (Bachelor/Master) or technical<br />hands-on journeyman background in tool making<br />* Ideally over 5 years of work experience in a tool<br />manufacturing/design/engineer-related role<br />* Mastery of tooling manufacturing process knowledge in at least one<br />tool technology, preferably foundry tooling<br />* Fluent German and English<br />A Plus If You Have<br />* Basic understanding of the business environment from the aspects of<br />purchasing, engineering, quality and manufacturing<br />* Proven track record of cross-functional project management<br />* Good communication and experience in commercial negotiation<br />Who You Are<br />* Team worker<br />* Problem solver<br />What We Offer<br /><br />We welcome you to our appreciative, open corporate culture â with a great<br />team spirit and good work atmosphere.
