International production consultant hybrid cereals (m/f/d)

We offer you an interesting position as International Production Consultant Hybrid Cereals (m/f/d) for our cereals unit KWS LOCHOW GmbH in Wohlde/Bergen, Lower Saxony Germany. 

In this role you will be responsible for the implementation of field production and seed processing of hybrid barley and hybrid wheat as well as for the support of production trials on an international level. 
We are offering this role as a permanent full-time position at our site in Bergen – Wohlde in Germany. Alternatively, you can opt to work from one of our company locations in UK / FR. Possibility for mobile work is also given.

Your responsibilities:

• Independent acquisition, support and consultation of seed multipliers and processors
• Planning, execution, analysis and interpretation of field trials, harvest data and quality results
• Continuous further development of agronomic practices in seed multiplication
• Conducting of presentations and trainings for production partners
• Preparation of field inspection and field certification
• Exchange and cooperation with breeding departments and (seed-) authorities
• Working with the QM system further developing it
• Collaboration in internal and external projects

Your profile:

• Completed agricultural university studies with focus on plant production or comparable education
• Several years practical experience in farming or agricultural consulting
• Experience in field production trials
• Technical understanding or experiences in seed processing
• Reliable, independent and goal-oriented way of working
• Initiative, flexibility and organization skills
• Teamplayer, good communication skills and networking ability
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• German or French language skills are desirable
• PC and MS-Office knowledge
• Driving license B
• Willingness to travel internationally in Germany, UK and France
